  • A New Chapter: Introducing Transformative Coaching

Helping you discover your potential, embrace possibility, and become who you were created to be.

Life has a way of inviting us into new chapters, sometimes through opportunities we eagerly embrace and other times through challenges we never anticipated.

Looking back over my own journey, I can see how each season of my life has shaped who I am today. Some seasons have been filled with adventure and discovery. Others have required courage, resilience, and a willingness to step into the unknown.

Through it all, one thing has remained constant: my passion for helping people grow.

Whether through teaching movement, mentoring, leadership development, or simply walking alongside someone through a difficult season, I’ve always found deep fulfillment in helping others recognize strengths they may not see in themselves.

Today, I’m excited to share the next chapter of that journey: the launch of my Transformative Coaching practice.

    Why Transformative Coaching?

For more than three decades, much of my professional life has centered on helping people become stronger, healthier, and more confident.

As a yoga and Pilates instructor, I’ve witnessed countless moments when someone accomplished something they once believed was beyond their ability.

Sometimes, the transformation was physical. But often, something much deeper was happening.

A person who once doubted herself began to trust her abilities. Someone who approached challenges with fear discovered a new sense of courage. Someone who felt disconnected from herself began to rediscover confidence and possibility.

Over time, I became increasingly fascinated by what happens beneath the surface of personal transformation.

Why do some people remain stuck despite knowing what they want? How do our beliefs influence our decisions? What allows us to move beyond familiar patterns and begin creating meaningful change?

And perhaps most importantly, what becomes possible when we learn to see ourselves differently?

These questions eventually led me to transformative coaching.

    What Is Transformative Coaching?

Transformative coaching is a collaborative, thought-provoking process designed to help individuals develop greater self-awareness, clarify what matters most, and take intentional steps toward unlocking their potential.

Unlike consulting or mentoring, where someone may offer advice based on their expertise, coaching begins with the belief that individuals possess valuable wisdom, strengths, and resources within themselves.

The role of a coach isn’t to provide all the answers.

It’s to ask powerful questions, listen deeply, help clients recognize limiting beliefs, and create a space where new insights can emerge.

Sometimes, the most significant breakthrough doesn’t come from learning something new.

It comes from recognizing something about ourselves that we hadn’t fully understood before.

That shift in perspective can change how we approach our relationships, careers, leadership, and everyday decisions.

And when insight is paired with intentional action, meaningful transformation begins to take shape.

The Power of Seeing What’s Possible

One of the things I find most compelling about coaching is the relationship between our beliefs and our behavior.

Our minds are constantly interpreting experiences, drawing conclusions, and forming expectations about what we can or cannot accomplish.

Over time, those expectations can become so familiar that we mistake them for facts.

    We may begin telling ourselves:

    • I’m not qualified enough.
    • It’s too late to make a change.
    • I’m not a natural leader.
    • I don’t have what it takes.
    • This is simply who I am.

But what if those statements aren’t truths?

What if they’re interpretations shaped by past experiences?

Research in psychology and neuroscience helps us understand how our beliefs influence our behavior, how experiences build self-efficacy, and how our brains adapt through learning and practice.

Although transformation takes time, consistent practice and new experiences can help us develop different patterns of thinking and responding.

This means that the patterns we have developed don’t necessarily have to determine the direction of our future.

Our past may help explain where we are, but it doesn’t have to determine where we go from here.

Through coaching, we can begin examining limiting beliefs that influence our choices, identifying strengths we may have overlooked, and developing new ways of thinking and responding.

A Coaching Approach Rooted in Strengths, Curiosity, and Grace

I believe meaningful growth happens when people feel both supported and challenged.

My approach to coaching is strengths-based, grace-filled, and action-oriented.

Rather than focusing exclusively on what needs to be fixed, I help clients recognize what’s already working, discover resources they may have underestimated, and explore opportunities for growth.

Curiosity plays an important role in this process.

When we replace harsh self-criticism with thoughtful curiosity, we create space for learning rather than defensiveness.

Instead of asking, “What’s wrong with me?” we might ask, “What can I learn from this experience?”

Instead of saying, “I always fail at this,” we might explore, “What patterns are showing up, and what could I try differently?”

These seemingly small shifts can open the door to greater awareness, confidence, and intentional decision-making.

I also believe that growth requires grace.

Transformation isn’t always linear. There will be setbacks, uncertainties, and moments when progress feels slower than we’d like.

But those moments don’t erase the progress we’ve made.

They become part of the learning process.

    Who Is Transformative Coaching For?

You don’t have to be an executive, entrepreneur, or someone in a formal leadership position to benefit from coaching.

Leadership begins with how we lead ourselves.

Transformative coaching may be especially valuable if you’re:

    • Navigating a significant life or career transition.
    • Seeking greater clarity about your purpose or direction.
    • Ready to move beyond limiting beliefs or recurring patterns.
    • Developing your confidence and leadership abilities.
    • Feeling successful on the outside but unfulfilled on the inside.
    • Pursuing a meaningful goal and wanting greater accountability.
    • Longing to live with greater authenticity, intention, and alignment with your values.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before beginning.

Sometimes, recognizing that something needs to change is the beginning of the journey.

Why This New Chapter Matters to Me

When I reflect on my own experiences—through career changes, personal challenges, leadership opportunities, international mission work, and seasons of profound growth—I recognize that some of the most meaningful changes in my life began when I was willing to question what I thought was possible.

I’ve learned that courage doesn’t always mean feeling confident.

Sometimes, courage means moving forward while uncertainty is still present.

I’ve learned that growth often requires releasing old expectations to make room for new possibilities.

And I’ve learned that our greatest strengths aren’t always the ones we recognize most easily in ourselves.

These experiences have deepened my desire to create a space where others can explore their own potential with honesty, curiosity, and courage.

Launching my coaching practice isn’t simply about starting another business.

It’s about bringing together decades of experience, a lifelong love of learning, and a genuine passion for helping others discover their potential and create meaningful change in their lives.

    An Invitation to Begin

Perhaps you’re standing at a crossroads.

Perhaps you’ve accomplished many of the things you once hoped for, yet something within you is asking, “What’s next?”

Or perhaps there’s a dream, a goal, or a possibility you’ve been hesitant to pursue.

Wherever you find yourself, I want to leave you with this thought:

You are not limited to the version of yourself you’ve known up to this point.

There is room to grow, to learn, to change direction, and to discover possibilities you haven’t yet imagined.

You don’t have to become someone else.

You can begin by becoming more fully yourself.

And sometimes, all it takes to begin that journey is a new question, a different perspective, and the courage to take one intentional step forward.

I’m honored to begin this new chapter as a Transformative Coach, and I would love to partner with you as you explore yours.
